About Us Africa Tours Adventure was registered as a limited company in 2013 by a passionate traveler who enjoys welcoming guests into the country and showing them the beauty of Africa together with a colleague who had a degree in Tourism but was at the same time very good with website designing and optimization. Having worked in the tourism industry for five years working with another Company, Turyahabwe Nicholas felt the desire to start up own company and fill the void that was missing since he needed to fully be in charge of ensuring the guests get the best attention he wanted them to receive. Thus, together with Munobwa Alex who was very good at website designing and background information in tourism, Africa Tours Adventure was registered.

Since 2013 when Africa Tours Adventure was born,  we have ably arranged safaris and tours for guests in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, DR Congo, now extending to Kenya and Tanzania. The invaluable services to the guests have since seen Africa Tours Adventure rated best on Trip Advisor with many certificates of excellence, as well as on other travel platforms.

Africa Tours Adventure is a boutique company that ensures close touch with the clients by tailoring their itineraries according to their interests and this has created a big family of friends and contacts. Once travellers come as guests, they go as friends of Africa Tours Adventure!

In case of any security threat, we ensure timely updates and protect our guests from any harm. We deploy experienced drivers and ensure the vehicles are in very good and road-worthy conditions.

As a locally owned company, we ensure cultural and natural values of our people and environment are respected. We strive to ensure the wildlife is protected by sensitizing communities and extending help to communities living around the protected wildlife areas.

Social Responsible Travel

We extend support to less privileged children, extend support to communities, provide scholastic materials to schools. This is mostly extended to the areas around the protected areas as a way of ensuring these people respect the wildlife and coexist with them peacefully.

OUR TEAM.

As a Boutique company, Africa Tours Adventure does not employ many office staff. We have a team of four hard-working and professional office staff who ensure there is proper planning of the safari, make all bookings, update the websites with the latest information, ensures all logistics needed for the smooth running of the safaris are in order.

On top of the office staff, we have a number of professional driver guides. We know that guides make and break the trip! Therefore, we hire very professional and passionate tour guides. We put more emphasis on our guides ensuring they are updated with happenings. We ensure they attend regular guides training which equip them with wide knowledge ranging from flora and fauna, culture. We regard them as our partners in the company and this has helped them keep up the good attitude with the guests they handle.

VEHICLES

Africa Tours Adventure uses 4×4 Land Cruisers and safari minivans with pop-up roofs for game viewing. In case their safari does not have the game drive, we use a nonpop up roof vehicle in case it is the only available. All our vehicles are well serviced, comfortable with working air conditioning.  We take a maximum of 7 people per vehicle to ensure each guest is guaranteed a window seat to be able to view the wonder Africa has to offer!

Cultural tours.

East Africa has multicultural diversity. Uganda particularly has ten major tribes, but is further subdivided to make fifty-six tribes! There are different languages spoken and also different cultural practices. This forms part of tourism for the tourists who are interested in culture. There are different kingdoms in Uganda such as Buganda, Tooro, Bunyoro, Ankole, Acholi among others. These kingdoms have different cultural setups and it is really interesting to learn about these different cultural dynamics. We have the Batwa in Southwestern Uganda, who were traditionally bushmen and there is a very interesting life to learn from their practices. Africa Tours Adventure explores all these cultural dynamics by taking you to learn and appreciate the different cultures.

Adventure tours.

When it comes to adventure, East Africa is just a wonder! In Uganda particular, there is a snow-capped mountain, there are different national parks, she hosts half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, Kibale national park is a hub to over 100 families of chimpanzees and other primates, the most powerful waterfalls in the world will be seen in Murchison national park, the longest river starts from Uganda.

Cross to Rwanda, the country of a thousand hills, you will be amazed by the rugged nature of the landscape, Canopy walk in Nyungwe will awe you, meeting the mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National park will not live you the same.  Africa Tours Adventure specializes in arranging all these adventure tours and will ensure your time and money is well spent while on your tour.

Holidays recreational tours.

There are many freshwater bodies in East Africa, with beaches, islands, rivers, lakes, and forests. Relaxing on the islands and beaches refreshes the mind and body. Taking a boat cruise on one of the lakes, doing zip lining in Mabira forest, visiting the source of the Nile, relaxing on Lake Kivu among others can be very relaxing. Africa Tours Adventure helps plan and arrange your holiday according to your desires and budget.
