Africa Tours Adventure was established in 2013 by Turyahabwe Nicholas, a passionate traveller dedicated to sharing the beauty of Africa with visitors, alongside his colleague Munobwa Alex, an expert in tourism with extensive skills in website design and optimization. After five years of experience in the tourism industry with another company, Nicholas felt compelled to create a venture that would allow him to ensure guests received the exceptional attention they deserved. Together with Alex, they founded Africa Tours Adventure.

Since its inception, Africa Tours Adventure has successfully organized safaris and tours across Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of Congo and has recently expanded its offerings to include Kenya and Tanzania. Our commitment to providing invaluable services has earned Africa Tours Adventure a reputation as a leading provider in the industry, reflected by numerous certificates of excellence and high ratings on platforms such as TripAdvisor.

As a boutique company, Africa Tours Adventure operates with a streamlined team. Our dedicated office staff, composed of four skilled professionals, meticulously manage the planning of safaris, oversee all bookings, and maintain our website with the most current information. They are also responsible for coordinating the logistics essential for the seamless execution of our safari experiences.

In addition to our office team, we employ a selection of highly professional driver guides. We understand that the quality of our guides significantly influences the overall experience of our guests. Therefore, we prioritize hiring experienced and passionate tour guides who are well-versed in the intricacies of the travel industry. To further enhance their expertise, we conduct regular training sessions and workshops focused on the local flora, fauna, and culture. We view our guides as essential partners in our mission, fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere for our guests. This commitment to ongoing education ensures our guides are always prepared to provide an enriching experience.

VEHICLES

Africa Tours Adventure utilizes well-maintained 4×4 Land Cruisers and safari minivans equipped with pop-up roofs to enhance your game-viewing experience. If a specific safari does not include a game drive, we will provide a non-pop-up roof vehicle when necessary, ensuring comfort and accessibility.

All of our vehicles are regularly serviced and feature efficient air conditioning to ensure a pleasant journey. To enhance your experience, we limit our groups to a maximum of 7 people per vehicle, guaranteeing each guest a window seat to fully enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and wildlife that Africa has to offer.

Cultural tours.

East Africa is renowned for its rich multicultural diversity, with Uganda standing out as a prime example. The country is home to ten prominent tribes, and over 56 others, each possessing its own unique linguistic and cultural practices. This diversity plays a significant role in Uganda’s tourism appeal, particularly for those interested in exploring cultural heritage.

Within Uganda, several traditional kingdoms exist, including Buganda, Tooro, Bunyoro, Ankole, and Acholi, each with its own distinct cultural framework. The cultural dynamics among these kingdoms are not only fascinating but also provide valuable insights into the historical and social fabric of the region.

Additionally, in southwestern Uganda, the Batwa people, historically known as bushmen, present a unique cultural narrative that offers intriguing perspectives on their traditional lifestyle and practices.

Uganda is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, providing a unique opportunity for wildlife enthusiasts. Kibale National Park is renowned for its population of over 100 chimpanzee families and a variety of other primates. Additionally, Murchison Falls National Park boasts some of the most powerful waterfalls in the world, while the mighty Nile River begins its journey in Uganda.

East Africa has many freshwater bodies, with beaches, islands, rivers, lakes, and forests. Relaxing on the islands and beaches refreshes the mind and body. Taking a boat cruise on one of the lakes, doing zip lining in Mabira forest, visiting the source of the Nile, relaxing on Lake Kivu among others can be very relaxing.
